I have done searches for opinions, but hopefully someone will chime in with opinions for these two brands and needs specifically. Igi 4 The Mark Game. Software Program Kasir Bahan on this page. I realize it doesn't make much sense to try and compare these two straight up, but they are the two brands I am currently down to. For Cabrinha I am looking at the 08 Omega HD, and for Best the 08 Waroo. My two top priorities are safety, and ease of self launching and landing. These two traits are most important because I will be doing a lot of kiting by myself, and a lot of kiting off shore from a boat, also by myself.
We have all of the Best Waroo kite bladders ever made. If you’d like to learn how to replace a Best kite bladder check out the kite bladder repair manual. Best waroo 2008 user manual Direct Link #1. Best Kiteboarding thanks you for making the decision to purchase a new Waroo SLE ‘supported leading edge’ inflatable.
There are no sand bars, but there is a large launch area about 18 inches deep. I can afford the difference between Cabrinha over Best, but I would prefer Best if possible, it will allow for more kites, cheaper replacements, and less worry about lugging extra kites in the car, to the beach, etc. Nevertheless, if there is the slightest difference in either safety or ease of use, I will go with Cabrinha. So with that in mind, please tell me if there is any reason why I should not go with Best. Greg7 wrote: My two top priorities are safety, and ease of self launching and landing.. I don't know if there is much difference in the brands you mentioned if those are indeed your top priorities the Peter Lynn Venom 2 would be near the top of my list, if you can find one oops - my bad - noticed launching from boat in shallow water - would recommend an inflatable for that also slingshot rev and the single front line safety system where you hook in below the bar makes it much easier to self land and i think there is an added safety factor in that arrangement good luck! I fly a 9m Omega and also fly my friends quiver of 06 and 07 Waroo's.
These two kites are actually very similar except for power for like sizes. Tft Specialty Tools Multimeter more. Laid out or pumped up together, the 9m omega is bigger than the 9m Waroo. Keep that in mind when shopping two different kite brands as one company's kite may produce more power than the other as the advertised sizes may be different than actual. The 2:1/1:1 and line sections on the Omega give it more range and options. As far as safety, the Omega flags off one of the front lines and the Waroo flags on a steering line.
For self landing in high winds I prefer flagging on the front line. Both kites self launch and depower fine. Re-launch on the smaller kites is also similar. However, the 15m Warro is a bear to re-launch in light conditions. On light days I can relaunch my 14m Contra with my eye's closed but you'll need to swim that big Waroo to shore to relaunch. I have not flown the 15m Omega. I love my one pump.
